At MithilaMakhana.shop, we take pride in delivering premium-quality Mithila makhana directly from trusted farmers. Due to the nature of food products, we follow a transparent and fair return policy to protect our customers and ensure product safety.

1. Return Eligibility

Since makhana is a perishable food item, returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Damaged or leaked packaging at the time of delivery
  • Product received is visibly spoiled or unusable
Note: We do not accept returns for taste preference, incorrect order placed by the customer, or minor natural variations in size and color of makhana.

2. Return Request Timeframe

Customers must raise a return or replacement request within 24 hours of delivery. Requests after this period may not be accepted.

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us with:

  • Order ID
  • Clear photos or video of the product and packaging
  • Brief description of the issue

4. Refund Policy

Once the issue is verified:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5–7 business days
  • Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable

5. Replacement Policy

In eligible cases, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, depending on stock availability and customer preference.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or partially consumed food products
  • Products damaged due to customer handling
  • Orders placed during clearance or special discount sales

7. Quality Assurance

Our makhana is carefully cleaned, graded, and packed before dispatch. Minor natural variations are normal and do not affect nutritional value or safety.
